The new roastery is complete and together with the all-important thermal oxidiser from Diedrich in America.
How did we get it in the building? Click on the video.

Wow it’s been like a tornado has been through the place.
The new roastery is complete with shiny new equipment mainly the afterburner and weigh fill machine. Luke is making us an recycled wood cupping bench and our first cupping session happens on Saturday the 13th. If you're interested, email info@billsbeans.com.au to get on the list.
A whirlwind trip to Melbourne last week to peruse our brokers cupping room. A great new Sumatran decaf for the caffeine sensitive and two great new Peruvians were standouts.
Colombians seem to have better nose quality (no jokes there please) and Ethiopia reigns supreme in its current offerings. More micro-lot coffees are on their way to Bills Beans.
Today we cupped the Zambian Lupuli Washed Arabica. It’s one of those cupping sessions where we argue who’s getting to it next. ‘Tea like’ tannin notes and dried apricots with a sweet molasses finish this is one coffee that wants to stand up and be counted. It now made coffee of the month in our online shop! Buy it by clicking here.// view older posts // view newer posts
